With a new baby on the way, our customers in Kingsteignton needed to turn their existing home office into a nursery. Having been disappointed with designs proposed by other companies, they approached Proworx South West for a solution.

We transformed their tired conservatory into a beautiful, fully insulated home office using the revolutionary Ultraframe hup! walling system, installed onto the existing base.

An UltraSky orangery roof with insulated pelmets floods the room with natural light, while the highly insulated walls ensure excellent thermal efficiency throughout the year.

We also raised the floor using insulation and chipboard flooring, bringing it level with the existing house and creating a seamless transition between the two spaces.

After spending several years beautifully renovating their impressive barn conversion, our customers had one final project to complete – replacing their old, dilapidated conservatory.

Used as a second sitting room, the conservatory was an important part of the home, but it was unbearably hot in summer and freezing cold in winter.

Our challenge was to create a comfortable, year-round living space without compromising the natural light entering the adjoining dining room.

We installed a beautiful Ultraframe UltraSky orangery, complete with decorative cornice, insulated internal pelmet and elegant insulated Loggia columns.

To complement the character of the property, we also installed cream flush-sash uPVC windows throughout the new orangery and replaced all the existing windows in the house, creating a consistent, elegant finish.

The result is a stunning orangery that perfectly complements the barn conversion, providing a comfortable space to relax throughout the year.

Dan and his team carried out a large project for us including 19 windows of varying sizes and a conservatory replacement, with a new orangery with a glazed roof, over a 2 week period. Our customers in Chudleigh Knighton wanted a bright, welcoming sunroom overlooking their west-facing garden. However, they preferred a solid roof rather than a traditional glass roof, ensuring the space could be enjoyed comfortably all year round.

We designed and installed a beautiful gable-fronted extension featuring the Ultraframe UltraRoof system. The highly insulated roof provides welcome shade during the midday sun, while the large glazed gable allows natural light to flood the room throughout the afternoon and evening.

As the property was a new build without permitted development rights, full planning permission was required. Additional restrictions relating to protected bats and light spill presented challenges, but with Dan’s experience working alongside local planning authorities, we successfully secured approval.

Our team completed the entire project, from groundworks and foundations through to the finished extension. We also installed new internal doors that open a full 180 degrees, sitting flush against the walls to create a seamless connection between the existing home and the new sunroom.

Our customers in Exeter already had plenty of living space in their new-build home, but wanted somewhere they could enjoy the feeling of being outdoors, whatever the weather.

We designed and installed a beautiful Ultraframe UltraSky orangery, finished in an elegant Chartwell Green. Using the innovative goalpost system, we incorporated almost 5-metre-wide bifold doors to the front and nearly 3 metres to the side.

During the summer, the bifold doors can be opened fully, creating a seamless connection between the orangery and garden. It’s the perfect setting for summer evenings, barbecues and entertaining family and friends.

In the colder months, the high-performance glazing and underfloor heating ensure the orangery remains warm and comfortable, while still providing uninterrupted views of the garden.

The orangery also features a fully insulated internal pelmet with integrated spotlights. This provides a stylish finishing touch while helping to regulate the temperature, making the room more comfortable throughout the seasons.

Our customers approached Proworx South West looking to transform their existing conservatory into a comfortable, practical living space for their growing family. Like many traditional conservatories, the room was far too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter, making it difficult to enjoy throughout the year.

To overcome these problems, we installed a fully insulated Guardian tiled roof, alongside new A-rated energy-efficient windows, dramatically improving the room’s thermal performance and overall appearance.

We also removed the existing double doors, widened the opening and installed stunning Smart Systems aluminium bifolding doors, creating a seamless connection between the conservatory and garden. An additional set of internal bifolding doors was installed between the house and conservatory, allowing the family to open up the entire space or close it off to create a cosy, separate room when required.

Originally intended as a playroom for their growing family, our customers were so delighted with the finished transformation that they decided the space was simply too beautiful to use as a playroom!
